Less is More, Off Center

Well here goes with my first challenge blog. I have decided to try the LIM challenge as it is something I'm not usually very good at but have been greatly inspired by all the lovely cards that I have seen there lately. This weeks' challenge is "Off Center" which means a card with little or no symmetry but perfect balance. My card is deffinitely  not symmetrical and I hope it has the balance.
The stamp I chose to use is from the Elusive Images (now Chocolate Baroque)Tall Trees plate. I inked the tree trunks with Memento Rich Cocoa and the leafy parts with Bundled Sage DI and then over inked some parts with Forest Moss DI before stamping it. I then added the sentiment from Crafty Individuals with the Memento ink. I hope you like my first offering, thanks for taking a look.

The Stampman ATC Swap.

Hi Folks, this is the first post on my new blog, ( also my first ), and as I haven't got a clue what I'm doing please bear with me if things don't go quite right to start with.
I have spent this afternoon making these ATCs for The Stampman swap.
Firstly I coloured the backgrounds using DI in, Tumbled Glass,Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire. The "I will write peace" quote was printed using the computer and then the images stamped with Black Soot DI.The birds on a wire was done the same way except the quote is a Crafty Individuals stamp. The third one is stamped using an Inkadinkado bird stamp which I stamped in Brilliance Lightning Black ink. I then decided it looked too pale so I stamped it again on spare card with the same ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder and cut it out, coloured the flowers using Marvy pens and a water brush and fixed it over the first image with foam pads. I darkened all the edges with Black Soot DI and added some gemstones for embellishment.
